How to get to Ljubljana travel info
International Office:
International Office has its places on Kersnikova 4 (MAP),
in the same building where Student Organization of the
University of Ljubljana (ŠOU) is. Here
you can get
information you need upon your arrival to Ljubljana, as
well as later on during your stay here. If you have any
kind of problems, just turn to our reception team, which
consists of Ervin, Darja, Primož, Suni and Tjaša and they
will be glad to help you. More
Program:
Each Friday, weekly program for
the next week will be send on the mailing list receptionnews@list.kiss.si (if
you are not on it, ask Ervin)

Internet:
Free internet is accessible on faculties,
in cyber cafés (e. g. Metropol next to the International
Office) and in
libraries (e.g. CTK - Central
Technological Library next to Cankarjev Dom). CTK is also
a great place to study, but in exam periods,
it is advisable that you come early in the morning (not
later than 8 a.m.), otherwise you will not find a free
place.
Student Service or Študentski servis is the place, where
you can get information about accommodation (free rooms)
and part-time jobs. They are some kind of mediators between
companies and students. Usually you can get a job as
a waiter/waitress, seller in a shop, cleaner, etc.
but when
you have luck, you can even work as a foreign language
teacher, computer programmer, translator, etc.
